I figured I'd start a thread where we could all share our experience & post links to pictures & video of this amazing night. I will put my detailed recap in a post below, later, when I'm a little rested and have my pictures uploaded.
I treasure the friendships I've made in this fandom. I hope last night was everything Ryan hoped & wanted it to be. Looking at & hearing the 1000+ people in that sold out venue, I think it was everything we fans hoped for, and more.

I'm still in awe of how amazing the show was - the energy and love in the room, the line that stretched as far as you could see, the packed house, the bounce for start a fire, the STAGE! reunion for BOYC - so many amazing moments in an overall incredible and unforgettable show. @NLeigh said it best with "an explosion of love" :-)

This is the first time I've ever posted here at Ryan's website - hopefully it won't be the last.
I'm here mostly so I can watch videos, but I also thought, while I'm here, I'd like to drop off a link to my recap of the show. You can find it at nleighh.wordpress.com.
You'll find a link with all the photos my fantastic husband took, as well. There are some really good ones, too. :)
Thank you everyone for taking these video and for bringing them here! Liz - the last time I saw Ryan was in a tiny club with maybe 40 people. He still played it like he was singing to 1000. I believe you though that the CD Release show blows every other performance out of the water. It was a very special energy/synergy that night.
Thank you all for these videos - so great to re-experience the night whenever I want to :)
Thanks Audra, I can see my hand at 1:56 of Back of Your Car touching his elbow. And here I was being respectful with just a tiny touch, and now I see everyone else all over him! (haha!) It was so much fun...

this show blew me away, and it was just an amazing night for a show like that :) loved the whole night, the emotions, the crazy jumping during Start a Fire, just everything was awesome!
Saw Ryan a few times with David Cook, we actually passed him in the hall before the first show we went to and didn't even know who he was. My daughter fell in love with the elephant right off the bat, had to get a signed copy. I was the coolest mom ever, for bringing her to shows. Each time he just got better and better, until I started going to see him on his own - I even went to the Working Woman's Lunch to see him sing 3 songs acoustic!
This show surpassed them all. It was just freaking amazing, all I can say. The energy, the emotion, he was in fine voice. And all the friends I've made from the David Cook shows were there. A little fandom community. It was just one special night. And even though I'm sleep-deprived, I'm staying up to post my vids and pictures for you...
Enjoy, I know I did!

Liz, one of my favorite things about last night, aside from the music, was meeting the long time fans, from the Rock Star Supernova days and best of all, from the Stage days. It's was great talking to them and then watching them witness what is finally happening for Ryan. And, I just plain like Ryan's fans a lot. They're sharp, they're fun, and they're a total reflection of Ryan himself.
Jas, I added the links to the OP, thanks!
Hi all - I have been following Ryan since the Stage days... I grew up in Queens and Long Island ended up being where I spent a good deal of time. Then like many, followed him on Rockstar and up until the present. I have seen him a number of times - once when there was only about 25 people, but last night blew them all away. It was a totally different experience seeing him without only a baby grand or keyboard and an acoustic guitar. Great to see him rock out again....I could not believe the large crowd - exactly what he deserves and I know he will finally get the recognition that is due. To think the last time I saw him was in a tiny little bar down in the Bowery last year... and here we are :) I think I have listened to Start a Fire 20 times today.

I didn't fully get on the Ryan Star train until my second time seeing him open for David Cook pretty late in the tour, and I only caught him once after that with Dallin. How is it that I feel like I've known him for years and his music is like a necessary part of my life? One thing I loved about the show is how he recognized and included his past bandmates. I never even knew Stage existed a year ago, but I was nearly in tears seeing them up there all smiley and playing Back of Your Car. Fans that had been there since the Stage days suddenly appeared next to me, filming and singing and laughing and just soaking in the moment. It was great, because it reminded me of how long Ryan has been working toward this level of success, and it was clear how much he honored the past.
The entire show was incredibly exciting, and Ryan and the band sounded and looked better than I've ever seen them. The energy in the audience was exactly what I had hoped for, and from Ryan's face, I think it was what he needed and was hoping for too. Singing the last chorus of Breathe to him and bursting into flames (ok, jumping) during Start A Fire are two moments I will never forget.
Thank-you Ryan for making us all feel that we are part of this journey and your celebration. Your music will stand on its own, but your heart and the love you give is a big part of why I'm here.
Ok thanks. If you run across more videos on youtube as people upload, feel free to post the links. I'll then put them in the OP above.
I'm just happy to have a place to chat again. I miss the days of the old rstar forum way back when. If you need any help let me know :)
You're welcome Digby. This is a labor of love! I really want to help drive traffic to Ryan's site, and it's the perfect place for one-stop-shopping for this stuff.
Scott, you Rock The Casbah!!! Thanks for putting this out there for those that could not make it but were waiting with baited breath(e) at home for the last 4 years :)
i have to echo all of Scott thoughts! It was hands down his best performance i have seen - and I saw some great ones on the Declaration tour! His energy was off the charts! I had to sneak back in after the show to get my cd signed and he made sure to take plenty of time with each and every one of us, despite the long line. He sincerely asked me what i thought of the show & the cd, and even remembered my name after i met him at Sirius! I told him that I wanted to say "it's about friggin time!" but I couldn't because it was sooo worth the wait - he seemed truly touched. It was a night i know i will never forget. It's gonna be pretty tough to top our 1st show together Scott!!!!
Oh yes, did I mention how much fun this show was, lol?
Ryan was in a great mood and the crowd was fantastic and LOUD! It was exciting.
Here is a tape of some of his banter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlPKk61LkxM
Here is the video of 11:59 that I shot at Ryan's release show last night, great show!

The show was amazing. It was a "be-in." A "happening." (I'm channeling the 60s, and I don't know why LOL). It seemed to be everything Ryan hoped and wanted, and as a diehard fan it certainly was everything I hoped for and wanted, and more. We all know how passionate Ryan is. But the passion, power, and dynamic performance were amplified by the importance of the night. Ryan's humility and gratitude was as strong as his voice, and he hit some huge glory notes!
There were a number of fan-friends from the Declaration Tour whom I had not yet met in person, and at this show I finally met about 95% of those whose paths I had not crossed over the past 2 years.
I got choked up when 1000+ people sang "Breathe" back to Ryan. I was swept up in "the bounce" during "Start A Fire." And "Right Now" remains one of my favorite songs - especially live. When the Stage members joined Ryan for a reunion for Back of Your Car, it was electrifying and again, I got choked up. When he introduced them just before the song, he told us how they had always said "one day we're gonna play Irving Plaza." Ryan made it there, and he made sure his former band at least got a chance to get up there in front of a thousand screaming fans and experience it. He went over and hugged and kissed each of the guys during the song. It was extremely touching. And what a wall of sound, with Ryan's current and former band members rocking out together!
Ryan made sure he met, talked to, signed CDs, and took pictures with every fan who wanted to after the show, in addition to the VIP meet & greet before the show. And he came out to greet people in the line outside, late in the afternoon. And of course Dallin, Artie, Dan and Eli did the same. They sounded tighter than ever and looked like they had the time of their lives on that stage.
Truly one of the most memorable nights in my life - equal to some of the best of the Declaration Tour.
I thought "Right Now" was a highlight of the night. He was so pumped up during that song, and also Back of yourcar when he climbed the speakers, took the girls flip camera and taped the audience.....great show
Scott- it was great to meet you finally! Tim and I had a great time! I haven't uploaded my pics yet- I am in the car on the way home :(
The show was amazing! I have no words for how great it was. Ryan deserves everything in the world!
Well, I did not last the wait lol, but met Ryan when he arrived, have met him several times, that was a bonus! I met lots of people in person I have taked to on forums, that was great! Sadly, I had to leave the line, didn't know that Ryan would not be starting at 6:30pm...."tears" and took THE LAST TRAIN HOME! Well, not really the last one, but today I really feel sad that I could not hold up being on my feet that long. I wanted to so bad! Anyway, got home and 11:59 was in my mailbox, and it is terrific!
Ryan is absolutely over the top and then some, a great person, a great entertainer...But I went to NYC for the first time in my life, alone! Survived! Saw Ryan and Eli and Dallin and got to meet SCOTT which was awesome!
