Thanks for all of the questions I will be getting to shortly. Please keep commenting below in the “Let’s Play A Game” blog thru the end of the week.

Veterans Day was yesterday and for many of us, it has always just been a day off from school or work. My Grandpa Nick was always the strongest person I have ever known. Growing up, he was the type of grandpa who would never let you beat him in chess, cards, or even an arm wrestle (you had to earn it). He has seen so many incredible advances in his lifetime, the kind that we will never witness again. He grew up with a horse and buggy on the streets of New York and now can see space travel and cloning. When I ask him about all of this crazy change, he seems unaffected because Hollywood or the comic books he grew up on, in a way, prepared the imagination for the impossible.
The one thing, after all the ups and downs many from his generation have seen in their lifetime, that brings my hero and strongest man I know to tears is the idea of war and what he saw. He and his famous 11th Armored Division were so proud to be among all the soldiers in WWII, where they were told they were fighting “THE WAR TO END ALL WARS.” He thought of his children and then me, his children’s children, and fought for that purpose.
Here we are today, still fighting, still, in a way, being lied to. Our troops truly do make the ultimate sacrifice and aside from our politics, remember that and try your best to be a part of the solution to do what they told my Grandpa he was doing. Thank you to all who have fought and thank you to all who put out the message of LOVE for the future.
