Nice pumpkin. I dressed up as a stressed out mother who is ready to crack at any moment. It looks very similar to what I wore yesterday, only possibly more realistic

Nice Karla. I went as a pissed off teacher. Tried to dress up as a fave musician, however, the farthest I made it was my bed. Too tired for Halloween.
Hope y’all had a good one.

What happened this year? — we got only 8 kids although the costumes weren’t half bad. I too begged off doing anything other than flopping in front of this thing for a bit - it has been a long and very tiring week…. A big hey to everyone else.

Cool pumpkin, Ryan! I was in NYC two years ago on Halloween. It was awesome and I wish I could be there now!!!! ….. and being from New Orleans, that says a lot.

That’s an awesome pumpkin.
I love Halloween, especially getting in costume.
I attended a halloween party where we had dress up as our childhood heroes.
I came as rainbow brite.
Lots of fun.
What was your costume, Ryan?

You do have some MAD pumpkin carving skills. I see that, listen to your music and then wonder what other skills do you have, eh? =)
November 1st, 2008 at 12:50 pm
yah so i have to say your carving skills are pretty freaking awesome! i went as a dark fairy this year! it was pretty hott! love your music!!

Mad skills is right!
I went as Sore-back-mom-a- saurus. My girls got about 5 lbs of candy that I’m now going to hide from myself…

I went to a club and was the only female in the club who did not go as a hootchie something. There was the hootchie version of every fairytale character, hootchie version of every female superhero, hootchie version of various animals and insects, I even saw a hootchie version of Freddie from Nightmare on Elm Street.
I was Mrs. Roper. Three’s Company was my favorite show as a child. Fuck cartoons, I was a sit-com kid.
The best costumes I saw: a five years old (not at the club)
dressed as a golfer! He was awesome! Also, a dude dressed as the guy from Superbad: plaid pants with a big red stain on the thigh carrying around a bottle of laundry detergent! Perfect!

My Halloween night:
I did the “band Mom” thing last night. I was hangin’ at “The Ritz” in Warren, MI for the debut performance of my Son’s new band “In His Image”. I was stunned when they started to play and blew all the other bands off the map. (I guess that is what writing music and practicing for a year before your first concert will do…or maybe it was the fact that they were all seasoned musicians who hooked up and suddenly the planets were aligned.)
Is it wrong that I was Goth dancing, even though I am 52? I rarely go to clubs anymore, but it was really fun to go to that concert. I love heavy music and the people are so interesting. It is crazy that in my real life I present myself as so conservative, but inside I have an artistic, free soul that is intrigued by these strange and wonderful free spirits that walk the night. I hide that side of myself from my friends…they would never understand.
Is there such a thing as being “Goth curious?” LOL

I dressed up as a skeleton…. well only the top half… I was wearing black pants…. so I guess I was only 1/2 a skeleton. Take a pic of ur pumpkin in 7 days. I did my pumkin on Mon and today it’s small and rotten. Happy Haloween!!!! You did great job on your pumkin =)

I always decorate the house as a Witch flight school. So obviously I was a witch. I think I was the only home in the new neighborhood to actually decorate - and we needed up with only 10 kids trick or treating. So … I have a ton of leftover candy heading back to college with the son.
Hmmm … can we post photos in comments? Here’s one side of the house …
November 1st, 2008 at 9:46 pm
LOL … nope! Can’t post photos here! hahaha! Never mind.
November 2nd, 2008 at 12:42 pm
Awesome job! Hope you had fun!
November 2nd, 2008 at 7:17 pm
Damn dude! Hell of a carving! I was a “dog chasing cars”. I was one of the many who dressed up as The Joker. Call it my ode to Heath. What did you dress up as Ryan?
November 2nd, 2008 at 11:41 pm
Didn’t dress up this year, but I had a great time dancing all weekend! I haven’t looked at your pumpkin pctures because my cell has decided not to show pictures this week.
